Private tutor in San Gabriel, CA
UCLA - BA, Communication Studies
As a longtime student myself, I know just how tough the "treadmill" of academia can be. I am a UCLA graduate and a prospective law student with tons of tutoring experience. I have tutored in both the classroom setting as well as one on one. I see many students in situations that I myself have been in, and I really enjoy helping them through them. I have a strong background in teaching SAT and ACT prep, but I can also tutor subjects such as algebra, literature, and writing. Every student learns differently. Therefore, I take it as a given that the content must be tailored to their particular learning style. I love to bring out the best in students, challenging their perceived weaknesses and playing on their strengths. I look forward to helping all the students I can. When I'm not studying or tutoring, I enjoy watching UFC fights and the NBA. I am also interested in searching out good music, art, food, and films. I have an open mind and love experiencing different cultures and views on the world. One last important thing: The cheeseburger is, in my opinion, humanity's greatest achievement, and I am on a never-ending quest to find the best burger in Los Angeles.
