I think learning is a wonderful and captivating thing, but I know that the experience can be frustrating as well. To date, I have taught a range of students, from those in advanced courses to those with developmental disabilities, as well as edited papers and applications up to published research levels. I have also assisted people in determining future pathways and can provide life and career pathway advisement. I have an extremely strong background in English but am also well-rounded with a solid foundation in science and mathematics (including high school math team and additional experience in university science and pre-med classes). In college, I did editing for academic papers and was a Professional Development Advisor, so I can help students who are preparing college applications, essays and resumes, as well as advise them in career paths. After graduation, I was accepted as a Fulbright Scholar to research abroad for a year under full funding. Upon returning home, I have continued to do freelance work in consulting and in-depth editing for professional and academic documents and applications, including resumes, personal statements and research articles up to graduate school and Ph.D. level.

Hobbies
I write and perform my own music, and I also draw, paint and photograph. I am interested in environmental science and environmental-humanitarian causes, especially regarding international develop. I also enjoy visual arts, craftsmaking, reading, outdoor activities and cooking/baking.
